Kindergarten

In Kindergarten, we make learning fun! We incorporate God’s word into every area of our curriculum. In addition to teaching the Bible daily, we also cover integrated language arts, numbers/math, science, and social studies. Social and emotional learning is developed as an essential skill in Kindergarten as students learn self-regulation, responsibility, and cooperation with others. Each day, students participate in Bible reading, memorization of scripture, and group worship.

“Teaching in a Christian school means approaching learning through a Biblical worldview. Christian educators are doing more than just teaching academics and preparing a child for their next stage of life, we are teaching character, social and emotional, and spiritual development rooted in the ultimate source of truth, God’s word.

Teaching in a Christian school, I have the opportunity to make a lasting eternal impact in young children. I am very passionate about helping students develop good character. I get to use the best example of good character, Jesus Christ, when teaching young learners. Jesus gave us the ultimate example of what it means to be a godly person and he taught us how to grow and show the Fruit of the Spirit and I can help develop those characteristics in my students’ lives.”
