Discrimination Policy
Grove Christian School admits students of any race, sex, color or national or ethnic origins to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color or national or ethnic origin in administering the school’s educational policies, admission, and scholarship policies, athletic and other school-administered programs.
Grove Christian School reserves the right to select students on the basis of academic performance. As a religious organization, Grove Christian School discriminates on the basis of religion and conduct based on its religious beliefs. This includes student and family religious commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal conduct including a willingness to cooperate with Grove Christian School administration and to abide by its policies.
Grove Christian School believes that it cooperates with the home in providing a Christian education to children. However, at times there may be a family’s lifestyle that is in conflict with or in such opposition to the biblical lifestyle beliefs of the school, that the school determines it is not in the best interest of the student and school to not accept the student. (How can two walk together unless they be agreed – Amos 3:3). This includes, but is not limited to, sexual orientation, same sex co-habitation.
